The editor has 44 templates in 13 sizes. 35×45 mm covers 27 of them, including the UK, EU, Schengen, Australia and Japan. Others include US 2×2 in, China Visa 33×48 mm, Canada and Brazil 50×70 mm, UAE 43×55 mm, Saudi Arabia 40×60 mm and Malaysia 35×50 mm. Search by country or filter by region.

A 2×2 inch photo is square, about 51 × 51 mm, and is used for US passports. A 35×45 mm photo is a taller portrait used by the UK, the EU and many other countries. Always pick the size of the country issuing the document, not the one on your current passport.

Switch on Remove background (AI) in the editor. An AI model cuts you out on your device and White is picked for you, or tap Light Blue if your form asks for it. The first use downloads the model, so it takes longer. Original keeps the background you shot.

It depends on the photo size. 4×6 in paper fits six copies at 35×45 mm or US 2×2 in, and 5×7 in fits nine at 35×45 mm. A4 fits 36 at 35×45 mm or 20 at 2×2 in. When copies only fit edge to edge, the margin shrinks to make room. Each paper button shows its count.

Download the PDF sheet and print it at 100% or Actual size, not Fit to page, because the PDF page matches your paper. The PDF button shows on computers and tablets. On a phone, order the JPG sheet as a print of the same paper size with cropping turned off. Measure one copy before cutting.

It depends on the country, so check the rule for your document. Each template sets its own range: US 50 to 69% of the photo height, UK 64 to 76%, Canada 44 to 51%, China Visa 58 to 69%, and 70 to 80% for the rest. Auto-fit aims for the middle, and the guide turns red outside the range.

You can still frame the photo by hand. Drag to move it, pinch or scroll to zoom, or use the arrow and +/- keys. The Auto-fit button only appears when a face is found, so use a clear, front-facing photo with your whole face in view. After you change the size, press Auto-fit again.

Yes. Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP photo, or an iPhone HEIC photo, which is converted to JPEG first. Have someone take it from a few steps away at eye level, with your face and shoulders in frame and a plain wall behind you. Close-up selfies can distort your face.

No online tool can promise that, and this one doesn't. It gives you the exact pixel size for your template and checks head size and position. It doesn't check lighting, shadows, glasses, your expression or how even the background is, so compare your photo with the official rules before you print.

Yes. By default your photo is read, cut out and printed on your own device, and files save straight to your downloads. Optional AI Cloud background removal does upload the photo and deletes it within 24 hours. Basic usage stats, like the size you pick, never include your photo or its name.

Each photo has the exact pixel size for 300 DPI printing, such as 413 × 531 px for 35×45 mm or 600 × 600 px for 2×2 in. It saves as JPG with a White or Light Blue background and as PNG with Original. Sheets save as JPG or PDF, with no watermark.
