Welcome to PixConvert.com. PixConvert.com is run by a sole proprietor trading as PixConvert ("we", "us"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.
2. Description of Service
We provide free online tools for converting and editing images, video, audio and PDF files. Browser based tools process your files on your own device, and we do not store or transmit those files. Some AI tools also offer an optional cloud mode, which needs an account and is paid for with credits. In cloud mode, the file you choose is sent to our processing partner, and both the file and the result are deleted within 24 hours.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks. You also agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our services.
4. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the service and its underlying technology belong to PixConvert.com. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our service without prior written permission.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use our services; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
8. Paid Plans, Credits and Cloud AI Tools
Browser based tools are free and need no account. Cloud AI tools run on paid GPU infrastructure and are charged in credits, with the price of each tool shown before you run it. Credits are granted with a subscription each billing period and do not roll over, while credits bought in a one-off pack stay valid for 12 months. Credits are held when a job starts and only deducted once a result is returned, so a failed or cancelled job returns them to your balance. Credits have no cash value. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time from your account. Orders are processed by our payment provider, the Merchant of Record for all our orders, which handles payment, sales tax and invoices. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. You are responsible for holding the rights to any image you upload to a cloud tool.
9. Closing Your Account
You can close your account at any time from your account settings. We disable it straight away, remove your personal details, and delete your files, job history and credit balance within 24 hours. If you have a paid subscription, we cancel it for you as part of closing the account, though this can take a few working days. If you want billing stopped straight away, cancel the subscription yourself before you close the account. Unused credits are lost when you close your account and are not refunded. We keep payment and subscription records with your personal details removed, because tax and accounting rules require it. We may also close or suspend an account that breaks these Terms.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post any changes on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically. Your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
