No. This tool adds text only: one line of up to 60 characters in Helvetica Bold, with no logo upload. You can brand a file with your company name or a © notice instead. Long text at a large size can run past the page edge, so keep it short.

Western European letters such as é, ñ and ü work, and so do ©, ® and €. The built-in font can't write Polish letters like ż, Cyrillic, Chinese or emoji. If your text has one of those, the tool shows an error and nothing is saved.

Yes, by anyone with a PDF editor. The watermark is real text placed on top of each page, not part of a flattened image, so it can be selected and deleted. It labels a file and discourages copying, but it doesn't lock the PDF or stop anyone opening it.

Not at the default 30% opacity. The watermark sits on top of the page, so a lower opacity lets more of the content show through. The slider runs from 10% to 100% in 5% steps, and at 100% the letters cover whatever is beneath them.
