Why Convert PDF to PNG?
Extract clean, editable images from PDF documents for design, publishing, and content workflows
Full Fidelity PDF Rendering
PDF vector content — text, shapes, diagrams — is rendered at full quality. The resulting PNG is sharp at any zoom level, with no blurring or pixelation.
Instant In-Browser Rendering
PDF rendering runs locally using WebAssembly. No upload wait, no server queue — even multi-page PDFs render to PNG instantly on modern hardware.
Universal PNG Compatibility
PNG works everywhere — image editors, presentations, CMS platforms, social media, and print workflows. Convert once and use the result anywhere without format friction.

How to Convert PDF to PNG
Upload your PDF — drag & drop directly onto the converter or click to browse your files. Single-page and multi-page PDFs are both fully supported. Files up to 50 MB are accepted and all processing happens locally in your browser via WebAssembly — nothing is uploaded to any server.
Select which page to convert, or choose to export all pages at once as individual PNG files. Each page is rendered at high resolution from the PDF's vector content, ensuring text and diagrams remain sharp and readable. Adjust the output resolution setting if you need larger or smaller PNG dimensions.
Download your high-resolution PNG — sharp, clean, and ready to use in any application. For multi-page exports, all PNG files are bundled into a ZIP archive for convenient one-click download. Your PDF never leaves your device at any point during the conversion.

PDF to PNG — Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about converting PDF documents to PNG images.
At what resolution does the PDF convert to PNG?
Conversion renders at high resolution — typically equivalent to 150–300 DPI depending on the PDF dimensions. Vector-based PDF content remains sharp at any output size since it's rendered from mathematical shapes, not pixels.
Will my PDF text be sharp in the PNG output?
Yes. Text in PDFs is stored as vector outlines and renders at full sharpness. The PNG output will have clean, readable text at the output resolution — no blurring or font rendering artifacts.
Can I extract a single page from a multi-page PDF?
Yes. You can select a specific page from your PDF to convert, or export all pages as individual PNG files. Each page renders independently at full quality.
Does PDF to PNG preserve transparency?
If the PDF page has no background (transparent canvas), the PNG output will include an alpha channel preserving that transparency. This is useful for extracting logos, diagrams, and charts that need to overlay other content.
Why is the PNG file much larger than the PDF?
PDF stores content as scalable vectors and compressed data. PNG stores every pixel explicitly, making it inherently larger. A 500 KB PDF page rendered as PNG might produce a 3–10 MB file depending on dimensions and content complexity. This is expected behavior.
Is my PDF kept private during conversion?
Yes. All rendering happens locally in your browser. Your PDF — which may contain contracts, financial data, or confidential documents — is never uploaded to any server. The entire conversion runs on your device.
