How to Rotate PDF Pages
Upload your PDF. All pages are rendered as thumbnails using PDF.js — directly in your browser, nothing sent to a server.
Click the ↺ Left or ↻ Right button on each page thumbnail to rotate it 90°. The rotation angle indicator updates live. Use 'Rotate All' buttons to apply uniform rotation.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. All rotation is applied in your browser using pdf-lib. Your PDF file never leaves your device. This makes it completely safe for confidential documents.
Can I rotate individual pages independently?
Yes. Each page has its own rotate left and rotate right buttons. You can mix orientations — for example, have most pages in portrait while keeping one chart page in landscape.
What rotation values are supported?
Rotations are applied in 90° increments. Each click of ↺ Left rotates the page counterclockwise by 90°, and ↻ Right rotates clockwise by 90°. The current total rotation (0°, 90°, 180°, or 270°) is shown on each page thumbnail.
Does rotating affect the PDF content?
No. pdf-lib applies rotation by updating the page's rotation metadata — the actual content (text, images, links) is not re-rendered or modified. Selectable text and embedded links remain intact.
Can I rotate pages in a password-protected PDF?
No. Password-protected PDFs cannot be processed. You'll see an error message. Use a PDF unlock tool first to remove the password, then use the page rotator.
