Can I calculate age as of a past or future date?
Yes. The 'Age as of' field accepts any date. Set it to a historical date to find someone's age at that time, or a future date to find out how old they will be.
What happens if the birthday is today?
If the reference date equals today and it is your birthday, next birthday countdown will show 365 (or 366 for a leap year) — the days until the birthday in the following year.
Does leap year affect the calculation?
Yes. The total days calculation correctly accounts for leap years. The years/months/days breakdown follows calendar months, so February is treated as 28 or 29 days depending on the year.
