How to Create a Certificate in 3 Steps

How do I create a certificate online for free?

Open the editor, type the organization, title, recipient and date, and add up to two signers. Pick Classic, Elegant or Modern, then click Download PDF. You don't need an account, the file has no watermark, and you can download as many certificates as you want.

Can I make certificates in bulk from a list or Excel file?

No. The tool makes one certificate at a time and has no CSV or spreadsheet import. For a group, make the first one, then change only the recipient name and click Download PDF again. Each file is named after the person, so the set stays easy to sort.

Can I add a real signature or logo?

No. There is no image upload, so a logo, seal or scanned signature can't be added. Each signer gets a line with their printed name and title under it. Print the certificate and sign above each line with a pen, the way most paper certificates are signed.

What size is the certificate?

The PDF is one A4 page in landscape, 297 × 210 mm. There is no US Letter or portrait option yet. Letter paper is 279 × 216 mm, so when you print on it, choose Fit to page in the print window and the certificate shrinks slightly to fit.

What certificate templates can I choose from?

Three: Classic (charcoal with a gold border), Elegant (purple with gold) and Modern (dark blue with light blue). They differ only in color. The layout, double border, corner dots and serif lettering are the same in all three, and there is no custom color or background image.

What should a certificate of completion include?

Most show who issued it, the title Certificate of Completion, the recipient, the course or program, the date and a signature. This tool has a field for each one. You can add hours or a score to the body text. There is no field for a certificate ID or QR code.

Why does a long name or title run past the border?

Names and titles print on one line at a fixed size and don't shrink. About 70 characters of name and 56 of title fit inside the border, so longer text spills over. Shorten the title, or move extra detail into the body text, which wraps onto new lines.

Can I make a certificate in another language?

Partly. You can type every line in any language, and accented Western letters such as é and ñ print fine. The PDF uses standard Times and Helvetica fonts, so Cyrillic, Chinese, Arabic and Polish letters like Ł come out garbled, even though the preview looks right.

Is the certificate generator free with no watermark?

Yes. There is no sign-up, trial or paid version, and the PDF has no PixConvert logo or text. Your certificate shows only the words, border and colors you chose. The site is funded by ads, which appear around the editor and never inside your file.

Are my certificate details saved or shared?

No. The form only exists in your open tab, and your browser builds the PDF from it and saves the file to your device. Nothing is kept after a reload. Our live site counts page visits with Google Analytics, which never receives the names you type.

Can I edit the certificate after downloading it?

Not once you leave the page. While the tab is open, change any field and click Download PDF again to get a corrected copy. Reloading resets the form, so make every version you need in one visit and keep the tab open until you finish.

Can I print the certificate at home?

Yes. Open the PDF and print it in landscape on A4 card or heavy paper at actual size. The outer border sits about 8 mm from the edge of the page, and some home printers leave a wider blank margin than that, so check the print preview first.
